World Environment Day 2015 by Dhubri Rural Society

World Environment Day was observed by the Dhubri Rural Society on 5th June 2015 in collaboration with ENVIS Centre, Asssm under the Assam Science Technology and Environment Council at Tistarpar High School located at Indo-Bangladesh border area. In this regard a students rally passes through the village of Tistarpar and a plantation programme was held at the school compound. At 10 AM an environmental quiz was conducted by Mr. Altaf Hussain, Science Teacher of Tistarpar High School. An open discussion was also held on various localenvironmental issues presided over by Mr. Amzad Ali Sk, Head master of that School. Mr. Anuj Kr.Bhaduri, 71 No. Company Commandant of Ghermary BSF Camp participated as the chief guest.

Mr. Samser Ali retired teacher of this locality also participated as an invited guest. Prizes weredistributed among the winning competitors. The meeting was ended with the vote of thanks byAhamed Hussain, Secretary, Dhubri Rural Society.
